Fighting the good fight.

It began a little over a week ago, The Canadiens vs the Sens.

Steadily as the serie began progressing so did the office hazing. It began with a few simple and might I say colourfull jabbs from both camps... Then on Friday coming back to my desk with a cup of tea, I found my beloved Canadien jersey neatly folded in the nearby trash !! Despite this attempt at shoving us aside, we won that night :)


On  the following Monday after a rough game the night before to say the lease... I found this in my office chair, my jersey inverted and stabbed with a question mark sign, an added sub txt;" why are we loosing.."








This was followed on Wednesday with an e-mail trail with for font an image of a grumpy cat goalie photoshopped into Price s jersey, my jersey !! My rebuttal was swift and precise, calling on all that is good and right in this world I predicted that despite our seemingly defeat the night before that we would rise again 3 days from then just as the good book said. Banishing those bloody romains back into the hellish senate they sprang from !!


Which was soon followed by an 8" by 11" printout of the photoshopped grumpy cat goalie from earlier on my desk...



Friday morning, following our last game of the season at the hands of the Sens I walked into the office with a heavy heart only to see a Sens jersey attached to my chair and a flinstone car  printout on my pc screen with the following sub txt; "There is your Limousine" This in reference to the girl from Lachine who was bullied for wearing the wrong jersey at school, got a Limo ride to Ottawa and watched the game with her family in the owners box. Earlier this week I had inquired to my supervisor as to when I was getting my own limo ride to the Bell Center seeing as I was besieged on all sides of my cubicle and bullied both physically troughs my jersey and psychologically... Course my supervisor being the architect behind most of the hazing, in retrospect not the best decision.

Thursday night, in desperation after the game and foreseeing the trouble that might come of it at work the next day, I addopted my own 3D grumpy cat from an origami template found online and custom made it to suite my needs. Now proudly standing guard over my desk, a silent vigilante, a grumpy gargoyle of sort, for any who would dare fiddle with desk and team again.

Running Shoes d Été pour la Bête le 27 avril et quelques...

Et bien et bien, La bête est maintenant chaussé de running shoes d été flambant neuf. Considérant le budget et sont age j ai opté pour un model intermédiaire a installé sur mes rims existants. Comme vous vous en doutez surement ce ne fut guère aussi simple que de simplement commander mes pneu basé sur une soumission de l automne passé et de prendre rendez vous pour l installation.... C est quant même de moi et ma Subi aka la bête dont'il s agit ici pardi !

Imaginé la scène, il est samedi matin et j ai résussi a marchander ma tendre moitiée de m accompagnée au garage en échange d'un café Tim et quelques timbits comme acompagnement. La je suis dans la salle d attende a grinotter une timbit qui déborde de confiture en prenant soin de ne pas m'en reverser partout lorsque je remarque un attroupement plus large que la normal autour de mes pneux d hiver sur le sol. 2 mechaniciens plus le patron qui se gratte la tête avec une expression des plus perplex... J interpelle ma copine les yeux rivés dans sont magasine un sourir heureux avec sont café a la main alors que j apperçois le patron qui reviend vers la salle d attente. J'emet l hypothese suivante: " Je te parie qu ils ont commandés la mauvaise taille de pneu pour aller sur mes rimes". Et c' est exactement ce qu ont m explique en s'excusant des plus sinsèrements. Semble que mes rimes d été sont plus large que ceux d hivers et qu'au moment de la soumission originel ils ont mesurés mes pneux d hivers plutot que ceux d'été que j étais venu enlever lors la dite visite. L'explication rendu,  ont m'informe qu ils ne tiennent malheureusement pas le model requis en stock et qu'ils devrons le commandé. Heureusement pour moi, ont m'annonce que le dépot est à Ottawa et donc que le tout sera régler d ici quelques heures. Ont m'offre même un lift pour me ramener à la maison pour le dérangement et délait additionel occasionné par cette petite erreur. Nous préférons marché et nous nous rendons au Canadian Tire du coin pour passer le temps.

Environs une heure et demis plus tard, toujours dans le Canadien Tire a faire du lèche vitrine pour les meubles de patio,  un coup de fil du garage.  Il semble qu'il était trop tard pour la commande et que la livraison sera seulement compléter le lundi suivant. Après quelques va et viend je réussi à me négocier un meilleur prix ainsi que changement d'huile gratuit. Donc nous repartons abord de la bête toujours chaussé pour l hivers et ce n est que le mardi suivant au matin en route pour le bureau que je fais finalement installé a ma Subi ses nouveau running shoes d été.  Oh et ptite parentheise, semble que l un des mes bearing est sur le bord de lâcher d ici les prochains mois... Se sera mon troisième depuis que j en ai pris possesion officiellements il y a quelques années de cela. Caprisieuse la ptite bête. Pas grave, ont l aime pareil :)
