Back home for a Pit Stop

So I drove back to the city yesterday afternoon after a light lunch. I was hoping to bypass the "sun in your eyes deal" by leaving early enought only to negate the change in season factor. In other words, the days are shorter in winter and I did't leave even close enought to avoid being blinded for half of the way up. BTW the gas is cheaper as in under one dollard outside the urbain centres so tank up if you get the chance ! I sure did. Got home sometime around 5 pm to find my appartment very cold, quiet and empty. Well aside from a starving for attention furrball clingin' to my every move ! lol. Speaking of starving & people I learned late last night that my cordon bleu dedicated chef and roomate or was it the other way around ...? "wink" Anywho she was only coming back next monday... :(((( something about a simili copycat injury to a finger and spending time with the family. Pfff, priorities priorities ... Kidding !! hihihihihi. Just hope you don't end up at "Doc Bone" & Ass for a follow up... Guess it's Litpon Sidekicks for me til' Sunday then ! Nahhh, I've been sober from those blasted dehydrated side orders for about two years now. Yeeaaa ! Doe my discovery of whole grain, low something somthing pasta and subsequent attempt at making something with it with home made pesto did not turn out as good as one might have expected. Had a sort of sandpaper quality texture to it with a whole grain bread taste...In other words, Beurk. What a waste @#%#$%#%$?$ ! Think I might just be up to get additional none full weat, low sodium, low fat supplies tomorow...

Histoire de Cervoise tiède, Pizza et Ze Nicolas

J'ai fini par mettre le grappin sur Mr Nicolas apres des mois ! C'est qu'il semble allé pour le mieux le Mr. Mieux encors j'ai égualement renoué avec la pizza de renommé mondial de chez Geoanina et rencontré sa douce des plus simpa par la même occasion. Mon hôte m'offre une Guiness de sont réfrigérateur. Il me la présente avec un gros sourire et me révèle après quelques instants qu'il s'agit en réalité de l'une des Guiness que j'avais apporté l'an passé... Genre, 8 pack de l' Halloween 2008... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Good stuff !

Parlant de Geoanina... Commandé via le téléphon et offert mes services pour allé la chercher. Je me suis dit que tant qu'a y être je pourrais allé viré à la banque sur le chemin du retour. Bon, tout d'abord nous sommes tous au courant que la rue Notre Dame au centre ville est maintenant un sens unique. Donc il a fallu que j'use des ptites rues secondaires pour me rendre à la dit pizzéria en arrivant sur notre dame de chez Nic. J'ai réussi via un détour à l'arrière de l'arena a arriver directement à l'intersection de Notre Dame, Geoanina et le parking à l'opposé. Enfin c'est ce que je croyais. Rappelez vous plus tôt lorsque j'ai dis avoir "Renouvelé" avec cette pizzéria ? Je suis arrivé exactement à leurs ancienne adresse bordel @$%#@$%@#$%@ Le pire, je me suis même stationné avant de réalisé ma gaffe. Sortie de la bête je réalise mon erreur et me dirige donc à pied vers leur nouveau local. Comme quoi les lumières fermé et panneau indiquant le déménagements furent des indices des plus révélateurs. J'arrive sur place et sur le comptoir a coté du cash ou est maintenant ma pizza je remarque une belle grosse affiche sous le plastique... NOUS NE PRENONS PAS INTERACT POUR LES COMMANDES... #$%#@%$@#$%@# WTF !! Bande de radins italiens ! Une chance que leurs pizza est bonne ! Prob une petite arnaque pour se remplir les poches d'avantage. Comme quoi il plus aisé d'arrondir les fins de mois avec la caisse et du liquide que sur du papier de transaction enregistré. Je retourne au bolide, me dirige vers ma banque en empruntant le sens unique cette fois dans un sens qui m'arrange. Sort du cash et une fois de plus me faufil par les rues secondaires a mon objectif. Tant qu'à être partie je me dis autant passé par l'école Maribel via la ruelle à l'arrière de l'église. @#$@!#$!@#$!@#$$#@$R# C bin cute le ptit sentier aménagé pour les piétons... Genre que les voitures ne peuvent plus emprunté cette route dorénavant barré !!!!! Tabarrrrrnnnnnnn Ha .. idée, il reste l'entrée privé du clergé entre l'église et leur résidences... mouahahahaha. Emprunte donc la vois "fermé / réservé / interdite" et tombe directement sur Notre Dame. Je gare la voiture au plus sac et une fois de plus me dirige vers le comptoir de service. Ramasse la pizza rendu tiède, retourne à la bête et clenche vers chez Nicolas ou mes hôtes affamé sont en train de joué au Super Nintendo. Semble que Nic à déniché une vielle console toujours opérationnel. héhéhé Une ptit rassade de ma cervoise tiède et je plonge mes crocs dans cette délicieuse création italienne (re-réchauffé au four). Maudis qu'elle fut bonne !

Good Morning and welcome to this years' second spring !! Live from the rainy Beauce where the streets are being overrun by slush and a huge inland lake from clooded drains is slowly filling up I come to you for a holiday update. Brunch was good this morning if not simple and bleak. By bleak I of course mean my own plate and not the compagny doe only 4 of us did showed up despite reserving for 12 ... Suffice to say we had a biggg space at our disposal at the restaurant, héhéhéhé. Question, why did all the other plates at our table have bright yellows, oranges, whites, browns and gold and not mine ? Well I did have whites, pale blueish pink and brown toast on a big ass white plate.... looked pretty bleak but atleast the food was good.

Last night was the last of the christmas 09 gifts vintage. The twists this year was that it was held on the 8th floor communal area where my grand parants now reside. Beautiful view and despite the altidue, we had no raw cattle or frogs flown in from the local birds of prey but sliced, diced, mashed and individually wrapped rations of kinda warm food. And by kinda I am referring here to the fact that the burners / food tray warmers sort of ran out of heat near 8 pm. Might have something to do with them being turned on for 4 hours straight... Then again I could be wrong. In any case it was good to see everyone again.

THink that's it for the Debbie Downer segment... LOL

I do believe congradualtionS are in order ... Congrats Robert & Sandie for getting itched and Sandy and Matt for the second "bun in the hoven" lol. Seriously, congradualtion to you guys, best whishes for years to come !


All in all twas a good load this year, A big thank you to my two additionals city santas' this year for the heafty bounty in the christmas stocking and the "mystery present" under the tree ;P Thanks Dad & Aline & Joe also not to mention the rest of the familly. Last but not least, the Beaudet Clan of course ! for that awsome bottle of French wine. Now I just have to avoid drinking it on a whim.

Mutliples Hits under the Tree... Timmmbeeeerrr !?? & Part 4 of 4 of Space-Mas

Phase one completed upon waking up this morning. I say, I do believe the gifts so far given where a hit ! The christmas socks by the "chimney" are empty and the tree's feet a little more bare that I care for. But then it was inevitable, mine all mine ! mouahahahahahaha. Oh and hers and his and theirs also. My pharmacy tree, despite the the succefull hits, still standing in it's synthetic glory. Now comes the daughting task of eating up all the remaining candy cane ornements. Just came back from my Aunt and Uncle where we had a delicious and most filling christmas super. Good stuff, good people, again what more could you possibly ask for ?! But enought of this, back to the matter at hand !! Just about to get my greedy hands on my one of two presents at my father's place. See tomorow morning for two of two ...

Speaking of two of two, I've been adding it up and unless I am quite out of my reckoning, two and two is four. Four as in part four of four of the "Space-Mas Commercials Series" So, without any further due here is one more reason to join the dark side. Well that and I keep hearing they have cookies...

Twas 2:45 Am on the 24... + Space-Mas Part 3

Twas the night leading up to the 24th (2:45 Am) and in the appartment all was quiet... All but the cat who seems to have gone bonkers for the last 10 min and is now attempting to stare me down with those glowing eyes. The Gifts are all wrapped up, the M&M Jar is full once more and unless I am quite mistaken the christmas socks by the furnace look offtly full. I wonder how that old draped in red bastard managed to sneak in with the presents... During the laudry cycle perhaps ? Did't even take cookies from the "cookie party, cookie party, cookie party" jar. Maybe I should of left a glass of stail milk out by the cookies jar for good measure.

Anywho I prob should go to bed soon, what with tomorow morning being G day. In little more than 6 hours I shall be rampaging through and through the gifts snuggled under the tree branches. Yeaaaaaa !!!! I can't wait ! Afterwards it's back to the Beauce in time for supper and then Church. Will be down for nearly a week according to the latest estimates.

"Cookie Party Cookie Party Cookie Party"

Dimanche après midi fut le vanté "cookie party cookie part cookie party" et qui dit "cookie party cookie party cookie party" dit bien entendu du monde et des biscuits ! Que de plaisir ce fut d'avoir une fois de plus du joyeux people autour d'une table remplis de bouff. Et par bouff, je veux bien sûr dire de quoi vous sucré le bec jusqu'au oreilles. 9 invités répondirent à l'appel avec en moyenne une cinquantaine de biscuits chaque... Ça en fait du biscuits !!!! Des biscuits au gingembres et chocolats, biscuits au beurre d'arachide, biscuits au chocolat cerises et noix de grenobles (ME ME ME), des ptit bonhomme aux pin d'épices en passant par des biscuits décorée de chipits marbré, des galette sucré et ptit gâteau sans bien sur oublier biscuits au chocolat ainsi que ptite bouché de bonheur trempé dans du sucre en poudre... MMMMmmmmmmm Des photos des dit biscuits, gracieuseté de Ras_Ta serons sous peu ajouté à cette entrée du blog histoire de vous mettre l'eau à la bouche. Oh et comme appéro, Butternut squash soupe maison et pain aux olives de la boulangerie du coin. Ajouté à tout ça du café, cidre de pommes et quelques cannes en bonbons aux fruits cueillit à même le sapin comme digestif. Un dimanche des fêtes, aka "cookie party cookie party cookie party" / échange de biscuits des plus agréable quoi !
