Grey Saturday Indeed...

A grey Saturday evening indeed...

I got kicked out of my friends' place cause she was not satisfied with the current guests present & invited at her house. Worst our forced departure was orchestrated on a personal whim of hers.

"Hummm... I 'm right here you know.. we can all hear you .. said I"

So, we were all politely invited to leave at 10:30 so that my friend "the hostess" could head downtown to a club with one of the latecomer guests.
The argument on this occasion? She bitchin for over an hour the people she desired to have at her party where not there but downtown. One part on the account of bad weather, on the other and by her own admission on the account of her not inviting them over. Rather trusting in providence to deliver them (most likely him) to her doorstep.

So let me get this straight, you invite us all to your house as part of your yearly BBQ extravaganza all the way up in Laval. Food, Booze and the likes til’ the wee hours of the morning or so does the tradition goes every spring for 3 years now. Instead we get kicked out on some petty selfish urge of yours at 10:30...

There are a many words that came to mind on my drive back home last night. I shall not utter them on this public forum but then nor shall I answer any and all of my friend, "the hostess" inquiries for the foreseeable future.

An explanation was I felt warranted on this, hence the out of character blog entry for all to see, including you. If only for transparency sake.

Sorry guys, just really need to vent on this one.

Waking Up To A Tuesday Update

I woke up to the sound of delivery trucks to the next door grocery store & the wood finish from my IKEA blinds fallin' to the ground once more. Oh course it only to shortly followed by pallets of earth being delivered to the same grocery store via a "flat bed truck" and a 2nd world war trackter to unload it al...

Enjoyed some time at the "Tams Tams" for the second Sunday in a row with "city gall" and co. Been spending some time on the plateau area these past few weeks in various compagnie. Couple of nice little places to have a pint and eat including a very good Salvadorien restaurant up by Jean Talon Market (Corner St Zotique Est / Dominique) The "Boite Noire" in the plateau area is also very well furnished in classic movies. More so I find than the other one on McGill avenue. I have added some of those newly discovered spots along with their respective adresses to my personal website under the appropriate rubric. Which reminds me, no more music on my blog or home page for that matter. Seems LAST FM got greedy and are now asking for money in order to use online radio and the likes. "Insert Swear Word !!!"




I'm off to the balconnie with a warm cup to conduct some further research.

Update du week-end

So... Une ptite saucette en dans le patlin d'origine ce week-end. Réussi a voir le 2 tier du clan B, 2 frères sur 3. Ce qui me rappelle, le 3 larron ne ma toujours pas remis la promise bouteille de victuailles ... ! La familia itou samedi soir et un bon brunch avec la clique hier avant midi. A mon crédit, réussi a tiré du lit nos amis qui habite a proximité du fleuve. Héhéhéhéhé Le seul prob fut qu'a ma sortie du resto j avais plus faim qu a mon entré %#$%@#?$%?#$ ! Oh well, crêpe aux pommes et café était bon bon. De même que ce fut des plus agréable d avoir autant de monde autour d une table de façon semi improvisée. Quoi d autre, a oui un souper avec le "Ultra Supper Club, Montreal Chapter" du genre BabyBack Ribs, Salades de Chou, Purée de Pomme de Terre aux Oignons Caramelisé et Fromage. Pain à la Bierre et bien sûr au menu desserts incluant Tarte aux Pommes, Gateau au Chocolat et Amuse Bouche au Citron sous forme de ptite cloche ou micro gateau inversé. Bref des délicieuses ptites bouchées et souper. Mium Mium ! Un bon week-end quoi ;P

P.S. Après des années a éviter tout affection de notre part et plutôt usé de ses crocs contre nous regardez donc ce que j ai trouvé dans le lit dimanche...

Attention Attention, ceci est un test pour les suiveux, sniffeux .... god bless them all ! héhéhéhé Arrivé dans le patelin d origine ce matin avec assez de temps en réserve pour déjeuné avant d allé viré au garage pour une mise au point de la bête a 8 A.M. Semble qu elle était due pis pas a peu près au niveau des freins .. Du genre 90% usé... isshhhh et moi qui trippe déjà pas sur les manœuvres de décélérations soudaines, imaginer ci vous le voulez avec du "power bras aka brake a bras" dans trafic urbain. Quelques autres trucs remplacé, recyclé, mise au point également mais je ne saurais vous emmerder avec des détailles aussi anodins. Tantôt va changer mes pneus d hiver pour été suivis d un énergétique brossage histoire d enlever une couche de calcium métropolitain. Comme quoi il faut lui faire une ptite beauté à cette petite ce printemps. Ohh et parlant dla métropole vous savez comment j ai dédicacé une partie de mon blog a .. disons apporté des "suggestions constructives" sur la conduite en ville de même que sur ses meurs ? Le best, organiser votre départ a 4 / 5 heurs A.M. !! Je pense que sa ma pris 10 min max de ma porte a la jonction de l autoroute 30 via Champlain. Méchant contraste ci on remonte à la semaine passée.

P.S. Pyramide et ces deux joyeux gaillards avoisinant en soirée today. Tomorow, voir dimanche matin... ? "Hint hint "
